Beyond COP21 Symposium
Wychwood School Oxford is proud to be hosting the Beyond COP21 Symposium series on Tuesday 30th - Wednesday 31st January 2024.
This prestigious symposium enables young people, aged 11-15, to find out more about the impacts of climate change and to learn about possible solutions from leading organisations in their field. Students will be encouraged to think about how they can take action within their own context on this crucial challenge facing the world.
Schools are invited to send groups of approximately 10 students. International students will get most from the experience if they have at least a good A2/B1 level of English
International Programme
The symposium is offered as part of a wider programme designed for international students to welcome them to Wychwood School and the city of Oxford.
Students will have the opportunity to learn alongside UK students and young people from other parts of the world, to visit important sites, and to learn about studying in the UK. The programme runs from Sunday 21s January - Sunday 4th February 2024.
The programme includes:
• Airport transfer to/from Heathrow
• Full accommodation and food
• Activities, trips, research sessions and symposium entry
